Getting Started

If you're a new student here, welcome to the group. This is an informal guide on how to get started.

First Steps

Here's a few things to consider if you are new to the group:

1. Get to know the people in the group and those around you in the lab. In the future, if you have questions, or are stuck on a specific problem; chances are those around you have encountered the same problem before and can help. Your friends are a valuable resource.
2. Get your logins, FOBs and door keys. These items would allow you to come in to work on off hours and access the lab.
3. Get familiar with the building and computing resources.
